The SoundStream unit is an ideal companion for any silent, frame accurate MovieStuff telecine unit. The SoundStream runs in real time for transfers of audio from Super 8 film at all industry standard speeds for films shot at both 18/24fps (NTSC) and 18/25fps (PAL), SD or HD. No PC or software required.
Easy to use, just thread your Super 8 Sound film onto the SoundStream unit, connect the RCA line-level output to your recording device and hit play. The SoundStream micro-processor controlled motor will run at precisely the right speed for frame-accurate audio tranfers that will match up to film transfers from any MovieStuff WorkPrinter-XP/HD, Sniper, Sniper-Pro or Sniper-HD telecine unit.

Technical stuff:
Super 8 Sound film only! No regular 8mm sound. This unit does NOT transfer the picture.
Actual speeds are NTSC: 17.982, 23.976
and 24fps - PAL: 18, 18.746 and 25fps
These frame rates take into account common
50/60i and progressive file speeds for SD and HD, respectively.
Output is mono (no balance stripe), line
level via a rear mounted RCA jack. Output level can be fine-tuned via concealed
pot.
This unit has a
universal internal switching power supply that can run on 100-256VAC at
50 or 60 cycles, so no transformer is required for international use. Maximum
reel capacity is 600 feet. Take up reel not included.
