NOTE:
Prices do not include repair of shipping damage. So please package
your
unit well and include the large front cover on the projector for maximum
protection.
Tape a copy of your order form to each item before packaging for
shipping.
Upgrade existing 8mm 1CCD or 3CCD Sniper-Pro to HD camera.
If you have an 8mm 1CCD
or 3CCD (ScanStream) Sniper Pro unit with the BLACK BASE
we can refurbish the unit
and replace the existing camera with an HD camera. This camera
can be used in the SD mode
if you are not ready for HD. If you wish to use it in the HD mode (now
or later)
then you will simply need
to switch the camera to HD and build the appropriate PC (contact us for
specs).
The cost for the refurbish
and upgrade is $2,695.00 plus $85.00 for shipping in the USA and $165
for international shipping.
During the upgrade, your unit will be
disassembled and completely
refurbished and relubricated to near-new condition. We need your unit in
our shop for about 30 days

The new WorkPrinter
and Sniper units have a high torque DC
motor, super bright LED light source and
a universal power supply
that will operate on both 50 and 60 cycles at 100-256VAC, so no transformers
are needed for international
usage. The new DC motors also have a larger drive pulley and run cool to
the
touch, both of which make
the belts last much longer, compared to the original units with the hotter
runnning
AC motors. If you have
one of the original WorkPrinter or Sniper units and would like to have
it
upgraded to the new super
bright LED light and DC motor, the cost is $350 for the upgrade plus $50
return shipping in the
USA or $85 international return shipping. During the upgrade, your unit
will be
disassembled and completely

MOTOR UPGRADE KIT for the SNIPER PRO or WORKPRINTER
If you have an original
Sniper-Pro, then it already has an LED light source. If you have the
original WorkPrinter that
uses a standard bulb, you can just change out the motor, if you wish.
If you want to upgrade
the older AC motor to the new DC motor, no need to send your unit to us.
Just send the back cover
and we will install a universal power supply and send it back with a
replacement DC motor and
bracket that you can install yourself. It will take you about 5 minutes.
------NOTE-----
If
international, you will still need to use a transformer with the WorkPrinter
if you don't change
the
bulb to an LED. However, you will be able to increase the voltage to 120
volts for a brighter image.
If
you are an international Sniper user, you will no longer need a transformer
after changing the motor.

If you have an 8mm MovieStuff
unit that is out of warranty and needs to be refurbished to near-new
condition, the cost is
$250 plus $50 return shipping in the USA or $85 return shipping international.
This price does not include
any upgrades. Your unit will be cleaned, lubricated and worn parts replaced
but the lamp and motor
and switches will be the same style and placement as your original.
This pricing does not apply
to video cameras used in our units. If you have a video camera that
needs repair, that charge
will be additional to your refurbishing charge.
